Hans Eysenck was Professor of Psychology at the University of London and Head of its Department of Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry. Born in Berlin, but in 1938 was forced to emigrate from Germany due to the rejection of Nazism. When writing Psychology of Politics, Hans Eysenck had two goals: to write a book on the current state of research on psychological attitudes that would be understandable to non-specialists, and to bring into a single consistent theoretical system a large number of scientific results on this topic obtained in various fields.
