On the ocean shore, Maya finds a clay fragment and is transferred ten thousand years ago, to the primitive era. This is a cruel world where human sacrifices are in use. During one of the rituals, an unfamiliar man calls Maya his chosen one. There are no words in ancient language to express love. Does this mean that the men of Nuatla are not able to love at all? Maya will have to deal with the traditions and history of these lands and understand why it was she who ended up on these distant shores.
