The publication is a catalog of the exhibition "Orthodox World. The image of Christ in the iconography of the countries of Eastern Europe," dedicated to the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Russia, which was widely celebrated in Orthodox countries in 2013. The exposition was housed in the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk). It presented about 90 outstanding works of Belarusian, Russian, Serbian and Ukrainian icon painting KhІ? - KhІKh centuries. From the museums of Belgrade, Kyiv, Minsk, Moscow, Grodno and Polotsk. These masterpieces of different eras and schools of icon painting were united by a common spiritual basis - the image of the Divine Founder of the Christian religion.
