"The Benevolence of Christians" is the work of the Monk Nicodemus Svyatogorets, one of the most famous Greek ascetic monks and writers of the 18th-19th centuries. The book consists of thirteen Words set out in an accessible form. In them, the author reflects on how evil, passions and bad customs take root in everyday life, and how, thanks to the observance of the laws of Christian morality, a person can cleanse himself, overcome the difficult path of self-improvement and get closer to God.
