"Paris" - sailing 120-gun battleship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Member of the Sinop battle on November 18, 1853. One of the three 120-gun ships built in Nikolaev by S. I. Chernyavsky. Ships of this type were the most advanced sailing ships of the Russian fleet at that time. They had no equal among sailing ships in combat qualities and had beauty of form and grace.
