Tutorial focuses on the history and culture of Wales, one of the Celtic regions of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The historical experience of the Welsh is unique and interesting in that, despite the assimilation policies pursued by the English Crown over many centuries, they have retained their cultural identity and language. Throughout the narrative, the process of the formation of the Welsh nation and the formation of its identity is considered, as well as the features of the transformation of the political, economic, cultural and spiritual sphere of society, from antiquity to the present day, are revealed.
