A conservative version of Russian history is presented in the new book of the co-chairman of the Izborsk club of Novorossiya, Professor D.E. Muse. Particular attention is paid to the liberal, Marxist and Christian-university options for streamlining Russian life. For more than a decade, the author has been defending the position according to which only the Orthodox-imperial form of Russia's being can be considered relevant to its foundations, values ​ ​ and prospects. On the contrary, a retreat from such is fraught with a man-made Calvary. The resurrection of Russia is associated with repentance, sacrifice and awareness of its great historical mission. Today, Russia - marching along this path - has returned to History, realizing the former tragic experience of its own creativity within the framework of borrowed forms and drawing from it the much-needed conclusions for the future. The book is intended for historians and political scientists, politicians and journalists, all those who are not indifferent to the tragic events and processes of a century ago, and their far-reaching consequences.
