This manual contains teaching materials for classes with fifth graders of the course "Entertaining Russian." Classes of the course contribute to the consolidation of the material studied in the Russian language lessons, a more complete assimilation of it, as well as acquaintance with such concepts that, as a rule, remain outside the framework of the school curriculum. In an entertaining way, schoolchildren are invited to get acquainted with proverbs, sayings, phraseological units, actively including them in their vocabulary, as well as enjoy solving crosswords, puzzles, ciphers, riddles, anagrams, metagrams, acquaintance with grammatical tales.
