A star captain from Earth, nicknamed Daredevil, travels from planet to planet on a gouged starship with his faithful friend Mutant, a victim of neo-Jamran genetic experiments. Depending on the situation, the Mutant becomes either a weapon of mass destruction or a racehorse.
