The Morse Code, named after its creator, appeared around 1850, shortly after the invention of the Morse apparatus, famous in the history of telegraph. Being the only one in its originality and simplicity, it quickly found its application both in Europe and in America, gaining recognition for the international language of communication. A table of such a language, or as the code is usually called, is a set of dots and dashes, fitted in a certain sequence not only to an ordinary letter alphabet, but also to numbers.
