In this work, the author traces the development of Russian-Kabardian relations, paying special attention to the progressive influence of Russia on the development of the socio-economic and political system of Kabardians in the 18th century, explores the feudal relations that had developed by that time in Kabarda, the nature of feudal land ownership, recreates the picture of peasant uprisings.
