The textbook is the result of many years of experience teaching the author of the course "History of Psychology" at Moscow State University. A systematic presentation of the history of domestic and foreign psychology from Antiquity to the present is presented as a process of changing the subject, methods and main problems of psychological cognition. The considered transformations of the subject of psychology together represent approaches to mental cognition developed by science over a centuries-old path of its development. This edition includes new material based on primary sources and research of recent years.
