The outstanding Russian enlightener of the late XX century, writer, historian and researcher Vadim Valerianovich Kozhinov (1930-2001) left us a legacy of many works devoted to the history of Russia and the fate of its most prominent representatives. One of his most fundamental works is the biography of the remarkable Russian poet and thinker of the 19th century Fyodor Ivanovich Tyutchev (1803-1873). The author and the hero of this book have a lot in common - both are true devotees of the spirit and workers who fervently loved their homeland, who made up the pride and glory of its culture.
