The monograph examines the problem of the development of Russian-Spanish diplomatic relations against a wide background of international politics in the period 1759-1799. A large documentary material of Russian archives, domestic and foreign publications determines the place of Spain in the system of international relations of Russia and the influence of Russian-Spanish relations on the general development of world politics in the second half of the XVIII century.
