The book explores the problem of the relationship between the authorities and the opposition in West Africa using the example of Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire. Opposition political movements are examined in detail, their value orientations, economic and political views are analyzed. The work contains biographies of leading political and state figures of these countries, including those in opposition.
