The book discusses general theoretical issues of tectonics and volcanism; issues of systematics of igneous rocks, geology of some minerals of volcanic origin. Of particular interest is the work on deformation of rocks of various compositions under conditions of high temperatures and pressures, as well as on modeling stress fields in different types of geological structures.
