The collection covers an extensive period: from the Paleolithic to the 17th century - the time of the arrival of the Russian population in Western Siberia, including work on the archeology of the Bronze and Iron Ages. The topics of the articles are diverse. Some publications contain new materials, others are generalizing. In a number of works, the main place is given to the problems of correlation of materials from neighboring territories with West Siberian, as well as private issues of ancient history.
