The book tells about the wonderful palace and park ensemble of the 18th century in Gatchina, in the creation of which architects A. Rinaldi, V. Brenna, N. Lvov and others participated. A separate chapter is devoted to the description of artistic monuments of the Gatchina region. Among them are manor complexes of the XVIII century, works of folk wooden architecture, as well as artistic attractions that appeared in Soviet times.
