At the beginning of the twentieth century. the theme of the fourth dimension and its geometric projections became a hit in avant-garde circles. Apollinaire, Glez and Metzenge, Leger spoke and wrote about the fourth dimension. The theory influenced Malevich and his Suprematist painting.
