The monograph of the American author highlights a set of problems associated with the development of large and ultra-large integrated circuits (BISSBIS) and the construction of equipment based on them. It is published in Russian in two books. Book 1 gives an analysis of the features of the manufacture of circuits, analyzes the economic aspect of the use of BISSBIS. Logical, schematic and topological design processes are considered with numerous examples. Characteristics of integrated circuits of various types are compared.
