For the first time in world historiography, the evolution of an alternative to wars and violence in the historical process, from antiquity to the Second World War, is revealed in collective Russian-American work through documents. The book shows various approaches to the ideas of the world and methods of struggle for its establishment, touches upon ethical, religious, international legal concepts of the world, approaches to ideas, the world of various social groups and strata of the world community at different periods of history.
