The book discusses the theory and calculation of centrifugal and axial fans used to cool electrical machines. The main questions of fan theory are presented in a new way, for the first time the results of experimental studies of built-in fans are summarized. Recommendations are provided for the design and unification of fans, contributing to improving the reliability of electrical machines and reducing the cost of manufacturing fans.
