This book is a chronicle of the turbulent events that unfolded in the Samara province in 1918. The coming of Soviet power, the coming of Komuch's power and the subsequent reconstruction of Soviet power were reflected in the numerous periodical press of those years and the archives of Samara. Despite the fact that events are covered from the point of view of communist ideology, one can get a fairly clear idea of ​ ​ the peaceful, political and military life of our compatriots in the year of the unfolding civil war.
