The book justifies a new approach to explaining the curative effects of Eastern acupuncture. According to the author's concept, the basis of acupuncture effects is not nerve connections, but connections arising from the traces of organ migrations and transformations in early ontogenesis and persisting in a mature body. Confirmation of this is given in the process of analyzing the topography and therapeutic indications of forty-five points of the gastric meridian.
