On the basis of literature rich in foreigners, the authors compiled a condensed essay on the military activities of Turenne, one of the famous French military leaders, whom historians rank among the great commanders of the world. Describing the wars and battles in which Tyurenn took part, the authors also give an idea of ​ ​ the state of military art rich in wars of the 17th century, which laid the foundation for the division of the army into the main branches of the army - infantry, artillery and cavalry. The book is intended for the commanding staff of the Red Army.
