The book contains a description of the production processes of modern airships of all types - soft, semi-rigid, rigid and all-metal. The presentation is preceded by an introduction containing a condensed outline of the development of airship building abroad over the past 30 years. Section I provides a brief constructive description of modern airships. Section II deals with the manufacture of aircraft structural parts. The first two chapters of this section introduce the content, construction and movement in the production of the working design of the airship and give an idea of ​ ​ the structure, layout and operation of the workshops of a modern airship building shipyard. In the subsequent chapters of this section, a description is given of the production processes of the most characteristic structural parts of the hulls of modern airships: serial hull beams, individually manufactured airship parts and fabric structures. Section III is devoted to describing the processes of general assembly of airships of all types using specific examples of our and foreign practice.
