The Feast of the Introduction (Entrance) to the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary refers to the twelve intransitive holidays of the Orthodox Church. The basis is the church tradition of how, at the age of three, parents solemnly introduced Mary, the future Mother of God, into the Jerusalem Church.
