Vatoped Monastery is located almost in the middle of the northeastern side of the Athos Peninsula, on the picturesque shore of the bay of the same name. It is the largest construction complex on the Holy Mountain with a total area of ​ ​ 35,000 m2. The kinovial order followed by the monastery is living evidence of the Orthodox tradition that was formed during Byzantine times.
