Estonian SSR schools have accumulated significant experience in teaching needlework to schoolchildren both in class and during extracurricular hours. The book was written by a home economics teacher at school No. 15 in Tallinn. It summarizes the long-term experience of the author, as well as Tallinn teachers of a number of schools in extracurricular needlework. The content of the book is structured according to the types of needlework: crochet, knitting and embroidery.
