General provisions are given for the design and construction of underground structures for various purposes: garages, dwellings, tunnels, storage facilities, warehouses, refrigerators, shelters, etc. Special attention is paid to the elements and structures of urban urbanism from the point of view of the development and reconstruction of underground space. Modern technologies for the construction of underground structures, waterproofing, dewatering of territories and methods for their calculation are described.
