"The Adventures of Vasya Kurolesov" (1971) - the story of the famous writer Yuri Koval. A humorous detective story about how a simple village guy Vasya Kurolesov helped the police in the city of Karmanov to catch a gang of scammers. The first part of the detective trilogy, the continuation of which is the story "Five Kidnapped Monks" and "Miss of Citizen Loshakov." This part is best known and has been reprinted numerous times. In 1971, Yuri Koval was awarded the third prize of the All-Union Competition for the best work for children for this story, and in 1981 the cartoon of the same name was shot on it.
