The guidelines describe the classification and clinical pharmacology of medicinal products used in dentistry. Typical clinical manifestations, diagnostic criteria, basic principles and treatment regimens for dental diseases are described, with levels of evidence. The features of the management of different groups of patients are highlighted, algorithms for the treatment of individual nosological forms are given. Background information facilitating rational individualized drug and regimen selection is widely presented.
