The book is dedicated to creating digital video with captions, graphics, animating images using the popular computer video editing and animation tools Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 and Adobe After Effects CS4. The basic techniques of working with projects, the main stages of editing a film (including linear and non-linear editing of video and sound, adding captions and drawing graphics on film frames, etc.), video overlay and animation creation issues, practical aspects of exporting video using Adobe Media Encoder, as well as a description of the Adobe Encore program intended for DVD authoring. Attention is paid to solving specific problems of editing a video, while the capabilities of the programs are shown using typical examples.
