For the first time since 1854, the work of the outstanding Ukrainian writer Panteleimon Alexandrovich Kulish (1819-1897) "Experience of the biography of N.V. Gogol" is published in this publication - the first biography of the great writer. The work of A.T. Tarasenkov "The Last Days of the Life of N.V. Gogol," written in 1852, and the essay "N.V. Gogol," written in 1910 by N. Kotlyarevsky. The publication includes works by N.V. Gogol: "Sorochinskaya Fair," "A Look at the Compilation of Little Russia" and "On Little Russian Songs."
