The first book presents documents reflecting the fate of the Kazakh intelligentsia - representatives of the Alash movement in 1920-1928; initially, due to historical circumstances, widely involved in the process of socio-economic transformations and the construction of a new Kazakh statehood, and then, in the course of strengthening the totalitarian system, rejected by it.
