Beletsky-Nosenko P.P. (1774-1856) - Ukrainian writer, teacher and lexicographer, author of the first large dictionary of the Ukrainian language. Only the original and one copy of the "Dictionary of the Little Russian or Southeast Russian language..., compiled by pronunciation, as they say in Malaya and Southern Russia...," on which the author worked during 1838-1843, have survived to our time.
