The book offered to the readers is a translation of an article by three famous mathematicians published in 1959. In this article, a priori estimates are derived near the boundary for solutions of common boundary value problems for one elliptic equation with complex coefficients. Obtaining these estimates is an important step in building a general theory of boundary value problems for elliptic equations.
