The monograph analyzes the phenomenon of utopianism. The negative attitude towards utopias, according to the author, is completely unjustified, since they are meaningful misconceptions in which true ideas are inadequately concluded. The founders of Marxism believed that they ended all utopianism with a thorough, materialistic criticism of their predecessors. However, they perceived unconditionally utopian ideas about a stupid, cash-strapped post-capitalist society, about the abolition of the division of labor, the specialization of workers in production. Moreover, they put forward and tried to scientifically substantiate the new utopian provisions created by them on the historical mission of the proletariat as a destroyer of the capitalist system and a builder of a classless society, on the dictatorship of the proletariat, which, in principle, is impossible, since no dictatorship is carried out by a mass of people. These and a number of other provisions are the subject of critical analysis.
