Perhaps most myths and scary tales surround the Middle Ages. In our view, this is a terrible time, when rivers of blood flowed, cities mowed down the plague, and a bonfire with a witch burned in the center of each village. The period that lasted almost a millennium, from the point of view of modern man, is a continuous series of horrors, wars, epidemics... The main task of this book is not only to dispel the most odious myths and misconceptions regarding the Middle Ages, but also to encourage the reader to independent research.
