The textbook provides brief information on the history of the development of surgical dentistry and the organization of dental surgical care in the conditions of a polyclinic, hospital. Data on general and local anesthesia and the peculiarities of its use in operations on the maxillofacial region are presented. Described are infectious odontogenic and neodontogenic inflammatory diseases, diseases of salivary glands, modern methods of their diagnosis and treatment.
