The Red Book of the Republic of Belarus is an annotated and illustrated list of rare and endangered species of wild animals and wild plants to be protected in Belarus. The "Plants" volume of the 3rd edition of the Red Book includes 274 species of representatives of the flora of Belarus, including 173 species of vascular plants, 27 species of bryophytes, 21 species of algae, 24 species of lichens and 29 species of mushrooms. For each species, information is provided on distribution, biology, abundance, reasons for changing the number and range, adopted and necessary protection measures. The description of the species is accompanied by an illustration and a map of its distribution in Belarus.
