The monograph introduces five groups of sources of medieval German law: "Lübeck City Law," "Magdeburg City Law," "Nuremberg City Law," "Saxon Zerzalo" and "Swabian Zerzalo," as well as the spread of these five groups on the lands of Central and Eastern Europe during the late Middle Ages and early modern periods.
