The book describes the design, maintenance and repair of Kolkhida truck tractors - a KAZ-608, KAZ-606A and semi-trailer KAZ-717 manufactured by the Kutaisi Automobile Plant. The main attention is paid to the KAZ-608 car. The book also contains a description of the operation of some mechanisms and systems, presented in the amount necessary for competent maintenance and repair. Features of disassembly and assembly, fault detection and other operations are considered in relation to current repair on finished parts in workshops equipped with the simplest equipment. Recommendations for the operation of tractor cars of KAZ-608, KAZ-606A and road trains are presented.
