Mikhail Vasilievich Isakovsky is a famous Russian poet, author of words for a number of popular songs (Katyusha, Migratory Birds Fly, Oh, viburnum blooms, etc.). All poems included in this two-volume book are arranged in chronological order. The only exception is the section "Feuilletons. Jokes. Poems on literary topics" and the section "From songs of the past."
