In 1973, as part of a delegation of specialists, the author got acquainted with the production of wide-body aircraft in the United States. The materials presented by the firms were used in writing this book. It provides brief structural and technological characteristics of wide-body aircraft and engines for them. Specific manufacturing processes for these aircraft are described. The book is intended for aviation industry specialists. It can also be useful for university students of relevant profiles.
