Soviet propaganda called the Red Army "Invincible and legendary," however, in all honesty, at the beginning of World War II the Wehrmacht had much more rights to this honorary title - in 1939-1942 years the Nazis went from victory to victory, "outright" defeating all opponents in Western Europe and occupying half of Russia, and the military art of the Reich knew no equal.
