The monograph includes translations from Sanskrit and an analysis of two logical-epistemological chapters ("Study of Perception" and "Study of Conclusion") of the famous Buddhist "Collection of Categories" ("Tattva-sangraha") of Shantarakshita with the commentary "Panjika" of Kamalashila (both - VIII century). Since Buddhists substantiate their theory through the refutation of competing theories of all major systems, their text contains valuable information on the history of not only Buddhist, but also all Indian epistemology and logic.
