A complete and systematic description of the physics of atomic collisions in plasma and their role in plasma processes is given. The issues of high-temperature plasma diagnostics and plasma heating by fast particles are considered. Separate chapters are devoted to wall plasma, including the interaction of plasma with walls and the features of atomic phenomena in hot dense plasma, characteristic of thermonuclear fusion with inertial confinement.
