The issues of application of modern components of reactive power compensation (KPM) in low-voltage networks (0.4 kV) for modernization of outdated and configuration of new capacitor units are considered. Reference data on the technical characteristics and conditions of use of such components are given on the example of products of the Epcos concern (dry phase capacitors, capacitor contactors, including thyristor ones, as well as chokes - anti-resonance and discharge).
