The second book of the White Warriors series is dedicated to the famous general - the hero of the White movement in eastern Russia, Lieutenant General Vladimir Oskarovich Kappel. The book was based on archival documents and memoirs, diaries of officers of units of the Volga Corps, as well as for the first time published in Russia memoirs of Colonel V.O. Vyrypaev. A separate part of the book was the work of modern historians devoted to the history of the People's Army of Samara Komuch, parts of the 1st Volga Corps of the Army of the Supreme Ruler of Russia Admiral A.V. Kolchak and others. Data are given on the social composition of the Kappelevites, the specifics of manning the white armies, the peculiarities of hostilities on the Eastern Front of the Civil War.
